What is your timeline for emergency breakdown repair?

Our standard lead time for emergency breakdown repair is 48 hours from point of contact. We aim to be onsite and finding the source of the problem within 48 hours, offering a solution and ensuring that your down time is kept to a minimum. 

Yes we do offer a premium same day emergency breakdown in order to keep your running at your most busiest times of the year. 

Service includes cleaning down of the machine and general health check, alignment checks, vigorous clean of filters, check of filtration, small repair such as minor alignments, lubrication leaks, changing of fluids if required. You will be sent a service report with evidence of findings and recommendations of any improvements. 

Unfortunately we do not offer in house spindle repairs, but we do work with some pretty talented engineers that do offer spindle repair at a great price if we remove and deliver the spindle to them. 

Yes, ball-screw repairs are one of the many services that we provide to keep your machine running smoothly. 

We are based in Lincolnshire, but service throughout the UK including King’s Lynn, Cambridge, Nottinghamshire, Rutland, Northamptonshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Doncaster, Yorkshire.

This is entirely dependent on the make and model of machine. 90% of CNC machines take on average 7 hours to service and check over. This is a rough guide and is dependent on what we find during the service. 

Please note that we record with videos and photographs any problems with the machine so that you as a business can determine what happens to your machine.

It is very unlikely that you will not notice something wrong with your machine, but if you don’t, and we find a large issue during our service, we will liaise with the right personnel at the time, explain the issue and any knock on effects it may have. Then a plan can be put in place to rectify the issue whilst minimising downtime.

Yes all our services come with alignment checks to ensure your manufacturing is precise and accurate.

Yes all our engineers are fully trained maintenance engineers with electrical qualifications, forklift license and first aid trained. 

With regular preventative maintenance. This includes regular services to change dirty oils and lubricants. Regular inspections of spindles, ball screws and other key factors of the machine. Regular cleaning down of critical areas that are subject to build up of swarf and coolant. 

During our machine service Precision Machine Maintenance will identify any potential issues, and can provide a solution that works best for you and your machine.

Start by checking the alarm screen on the control panel. This will help diagnose any issues. Many faults are easily fixed, while other faults may lead to more serious problems. If you need assistance, we are always available for telephone support.
